Kia Ora all Greetings from sunny Pleneuf Val Andre, Brittany, France - 420 Class French Coupe Nationale 2013

Greetings from sunny Pleneuf Val Andre, Brittany, France.
Don't be disappointed about lack of individual contact, the Burn Gibbs sailing Team and Grand European roadie is well under way and life is pretty hectic.
After a 4 hour drive in the early hours to Christchurch Airport, an 11 hour flight on the fabulous Singapore Airlines, a 6 hour lay over at the airport....then a 13 hour flight to Zurich, the travelling party of the Gibbs and Burn families finally arrived in various states of wreckage and travel fatigue.
A pleasant 3 hour wait sitting with baggage at the Taxi stand outside Zurich Airport soaking up the carbon dioxide and Swiss 'Savoir Fare' wondering where our man, Arthur, was almost completed our travel experience. To be texted and told he had been hit by a truck while bringing our big Mercedes van, 420 on the roof, plus a huge trailer with large Rigid Inflatable coach boat, plus another two 420's that we were planning on driving to the North of France immediately after landing did give us some cause for concern.
